There, I've said it. Yep, due to a combination of C being a Flash Game Obsessive and the realisation that V*sta has its uses and allows me to actually play games rather than just blog about them after watching C froth in delight, I now admit I find it difficult to tear myself away from them of an evening. I know some people won't believe this, thinking I have been addicted all this time, but the truth is I blogged many Flash game links in the past because I am nice and I like to see people having fun.
So without further ado, may I recommend this week's faves:
3) Daymare - spooky and unfinishable. A failed to see the point of this (I think the point is to find the birds...!)

2) Embarrassing moment: I sneezed on C's arm, much to her horror! How gross is that?! Dunno why I'm blogging this... perhaps because it's Friday and because I want to prove I have a sense of humour? It was an accident, BTW.
3) Flash game: Beeeeeecaaaaaaause it's Friiiiiiiday! This was tried and tested last night... good graphics and not too complicated (use the walkthrough if you get stuck, but that does spoil it a bit!).

"...you know how sometimes, if you forget the CAPS LOCK is on, you discover you've typed a whole sentence in CAPS and have to write it again? Well.....you don't!
Just highlight it and press shift f3 and it'll change all to either upper case, lower case or first letter big rest small."

Today's Top Three Things To Do When You're Bored On A Friday Afternoon...
... because some of the nice people who read my blog left comments on it that made me say "ahhhh", and because I know youse come here on Friday afternoons when you're bored!
3) Check out these shoes made from old coffee bags. They're even vegan. As my Grandma would say, fancy that!
2) Add a robot to your MSN list. Yes, really. Smarter Child is hailed by geeks and provides hours of fun, if you like that sort of thing anyway..!

Today's Top Three Organic Veg Thingies:
3) Natural & Organic World Festivals. Went to one today, after seeing an advert for it on the way home from E and P's last night (great time thanks, girls!). Was good, we bought some bread, cheese and a hot pepper chutney thing that almost blew our mouths apart, and were practically forced to join The Wildlife Trusts by a sweet old guy who wouldn't take no for an answer. Well, we didn't want to say no, anyway!
2) Gordons Organic Wholegrain Mustard. If anyone wants to buy me a birthday pressie and doesn't know what to get me, I will die with sheer happiness if you get me this.
1) Beetroot and Potato Mash. By popular demand, here is the recipe!
Beetroot
Potatoes (four times as much potatoes as beetroot, depending on how much you want to make)
Salt and pepper
Basil or another herb of your choice
Olive oil (if you're vegan)
Butter/milk (if you're not)
* Simply peel, chop and boil the beetroot and potatoes in separate pans until they are cooked.
* Mash the potato, adding as much salt and pepper, herbs and olive oil/butter and milk as you feel like.
* Next, crush the beetroot with the masher (it is not physically possible to mash beetroot - believe me, I have tried!), and when it is kind of crushed enough so that it isn't too lumpy, stir it into the potato. Don't fully stir it, so that you get a cool 'marble' effect that looks like raspberry ripple ice cream, or potato with a dead animal in it, depending on how you want to look at it(!)
... Yup, I told you it was easy :o)
As you can see, I love food... just as well I'm getting back into the running, too!
3) Bizarreness. Today the assessor emailed to ask me for my employment history/qualifications including my GCSE results. I replied to say OK, but pointed out that I failed to see how my GCSE results, from about 15 years ago, were relevant. Her reply? "No need for those. You look so young!"
How young?! 21?! Ha.
2) Website. Draw a house! It's cool... my results were quite accurate! Cheers for that one, H.
1) Blog. As much as the getjealous.com name annoys me (no need to rub it in!), I very much love Jo and Andy's travel blog... fantastic stuff, and ideal for Friday Afternoon or weekend surfing!
