« A brief Harry update | Main | Catvice please »

3 reasons to contact my MP

1) Because this mess is happening and I don't know how to even start to describe it. The only good thing about it is the fact that it's mobilised Deaf people INTERNATIONALLY and finally the UK seems to be awakening.

2) Because the Ekko plastic recycling factory is going to close down at the end of December and we will therefore be left with a mountain of plastic debris.

3) Because the cat is still king.

UK...I'm not entirely sure about that...thanks to some...TWAT...people in DUK aren't aware of that HFEB thing. I've spoken to a few active deafies and they all had no idea (clue - they all read DUK email group)

In fact if you look at DUK mailings - there are no debates about it, it's all about erm BBC.

Argh...sorry for rant in comment but I've had enough of twats making some petty little things into a bigger issue than the HFEB issue...

The UK Deaf community is a darn sight more active than I have seen it for years, with people, including yourself, actually doing something. That counts, in my book.

Yes the DUK situation is annoying but it is not reflective of the UK Deaf community as a whole, even though it is stopping people learning about it. Best to be pleased with what *IS* happening rather than what isn't!
