« Things That Annoy Me Part 22 | Main | Question of the day: »

Maybe blogs are like buses.

... one doesn't come for a long time and then three come along at once, or rather two, in this instance. It's not often that I blog twice in one day, but here I am again!

It always happens - my blog stops working and then I suddenly HAVE TO BLOG ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS, BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE LIFE IS CRUEL LIKE THAT. It's true! Some of the things I have wanted to blog about (but couldn't) in the last 10 days include these completely random issues:

* How the Catholic Church failed to blackmail the Government. Hooray!

* Several petitions, which are probably out of date now, and it's Friday evening and I'm going out soon, so I can't be bothered to look for them again now. Sorry.

* This hedgehog, who single-handedly (or should that be single-spikedly?!) gives us more evidence that global warming is real and makes poor wee animals cold. Ahhhhhhhhh!

* The fact that CSS coding is really quite hard if it isn't your day job, and it gives you a headache and makes you want to pull your eyeballs out and throw them a long way away. And the other fact that A is a genius.

* This hilarious pink Sweetheart Vibrating Alarm Clock, which is, "Designed especially for young ladies; with its heart shape, hot pink colour and multi coloured display. However, for a cute clock it packs a mean punch and even Sleeping Beauty wouldn't manage to sleep through its powerful alarm and vibration," according to the specially-geared advertising mailing I received from DeafEquipment. Jeesh, I'm kind of lost for words there! Anyway, I don't need one - I have C (much to her annoyance).

Other news is that C and I learned how to do up a bathroom this week. And we still haven't finished. There's no doubt about it, C has missed her vocation as an expert tile cutter! She cuts everything that needed to be cut into EXACTLY THE RIGHT SHAPE AND SIZE with loads of patience, AND she neatly fills in the corners after I enthusiastically and impatiently slap paint on the walls like there's no tomorrow.

A good bathroom-related tip is: the most important things you need to remove sealant are a sharp stanley knife and patience. I failed on the patience part for a while, although I won the war in the end. So that's your tip for the weekend!

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, enjoy!
