.... random rants and rambles. no agenda. yet.

Mona Lisa has been in pieces on our kitchen table for almost a week now...

... Yes. This came about partly because C loves doing jigsaws, and partly because she is very stubborn. Ce also loves jigsaws, so they have started to do them together, swapping them etc..! Anyway, Ce lost her temper with Mona Lisa because she couldn't finish her off - and Ce never gives up, so it must have been hard - so she brought her over in a rage for C to try. And C never gives up either, so here we go. La la laaaaaa.

I don't mind really, but our kitchen table is quite small, and Mona Lisa is rather... big! This means we have to eat with our plates on top of her face/other body parts, trying carefully not to move in case the jigsaw comes apart. This morning at breakfast we had a quite interesting conversation about how long Mona Lisa's arms might be, and where they would fit at the end of the day. Throughout, Mona Lisa stared at me with that stupid half-smile of hers.

I wonder if we'll see the table again sometime soon, or Mona Lisa will stay in pieces forevermore?
