Perk of Working From Home, number 67642
You can wear shorts and a vest and no shoes, and eat ice cream at your desk, while all your non-home working friends are sweltering in their 'smart casual' company regulation clothes and/or suits, loosening their ties and swearing to themselves while they fan their faces with rolled up magazines.
You can also use your laptop in the garden, if you have one, as long as you don't mind the smell of melting plastic.

Can you actually see the laptop screen in the garden? :P

Yes I could with mine :P However you asked the wrong question Alison...
What you should have asked is...
"yes working at home is nice and all that...BUT...did you actually do any work at all?"
She'll then get all hot and bothered and insist that she have done some work (about half a page in Word, 3 emails in total probably).
The rest of the time? Just dossing around...sitting in the garden, spending 4 hours getting the chair, table etc set just right ready for work etc etc so that by the time it's all done, there's about half hour of "working day" left.

Disadvantage?
Home has no air conditioning like the office has.
*goes in search of more icecream*
