Today before she went to work, C filled a little bowl with water and special handwashing powder. Then, very very carefully, she washed five or six Pippa doll dresses and a pair of Pippa shoes. When she had done that, she emptied the water down the sink and screamed because a tiny white shoe had fallen down the plughole. I tried my best not to laugh too much while she frantically got under the sink and unscrewed the pipes so that she could rescue the shoe. When I got back from walking the dog, I found her patting the dresses dry and lining them up neatly on the radiator.

It is worth mentioning that most of the dresses belong to C, who is 34 years old, and that she only let me write this blog so that I cannot blackmail her.
